This season, more than any other, I’ve really been rewearing and remixing pieces from my wardrobe. As much as “due to Covid” is a phrase that I cannot WAIT to never ever hear uttered again, the pandemic is in fact, the reason for my accidental “capsule wardrobe” – like most of us, I’ve been shopping WAY less, and just trying to make do with what I already own, plus a few key pieces that served to freshen up my closet staples. This winter, keeping to a mostly black, brown, camel, beige and denim palette – neutrals, I suppose- actually made getting dressed pretty easy and fun. While I definitely look forward to creating new and fun outfits for actual social events in the future (!), I really liked paring down to the basics this past season. Here are the “hero pieces” that got me through the past few months and that I continue to wear and remix on repeat:
