Just a quick outfit inspo post for you guys with what I wore this past weekend for brunch and Thanksgiving errands…

One of my fave texture contrasts to wear in the colder temps is a cozy, fuzzy sweater and sleek leather leggings.  This time, I paired it with my red coat from J. Crew, white gold-tipped sneaks from Aldo, and my Chloe Faye– comfy-chic, fit for both huevos rancheros and running 049753497 errands on a Saturday! Items and options linked above to shop!

Black Combat Boots: Zara

I recently added these black combat boots from Zara to my fall/winter shoe rotation and now I can’t stop wearing them! You know when you start wearing a new piece and all of a sudden you don’t understand how you functioned wardrobe-wise without it?! Enter these boots.

Zara had a couple different options, at different price points, one for $170, one for $150 and these, from their Trafaluc collection, for only $70.  I opted for these guys since I wasn’t exactly sure if I was going to love them or not– turns out, I’m obsessed!  I’m always on the hunt for any additions to my wardrobe that toughen up or lend a sense of edge to otherwise traditional, girly or classic pieces.  I’ve paired them twice so far with dresses, blazers and moto jackets, like pictured above, and once with leggings and an oversized sweater.  They sort of balance out a look, giving the bottom half weight and substance, literally “grounding me”, which I like.  They even have faux fur tongue inserts (:) ).
