One of my absolute favorite places to go during the summer is Montauk, the last town at the very tip end of Long Island, at the very end of the Hamptons. We’ve been going for enough years now that we have our fave place to stay, Sole East Resort (linked here), for a chic, boutique hotel experience, that’s still charming, quaint and unpretentious. We go to our fave surf spots (Ditch Plain, Turtle Cove, Atlantic Terrace), do the Camp Hero Hike to the lighthouse, and eat in all our fave spots (Harvest, Crow’s Nest, Bliss Kitchen, Gig Shack, Tacombi)– and this year was extra fun because we had Nolan as our (very welcomed) third wheel! Taking a two month old away, was really pretty easy– first off, we are lucky to have a “good baby” and secondly, at this age, all he really requires are diapers and formula– so he travels pretty light.
