Every now and again, I try to push myself out of my comfort zone and try something completely different, and I always encourage my friends to do the same– that’s how, like anything in life, you discover new things you end up LOVING, wondering how the heck did I function without this before!? Enter this gold pleated midi skirt from Storets– I mean, obvi, it gets points for being gold, and midi, which is my fave current length. Since I knew I was mixing metallics here, I kept the top simple– just a plain white tee and black moto jacket to offset the glam feel of the skirt– and added silver shoes and a silver clutch to make the look visually interesting. I ended up loving this look– and can’t wait to wear this skirt with a baggy grey sweater, funky sweatshirts and combat boots come cooler temps!
