Striped Mini Tunic (worn as mini dress): Rachel Zoe Maternity (on sale!)| Faux Fur Jacket: Zara (sold out, similar one from H&M here!) | Pointed toe booties: Zara (sold out, similar here) |Skinny velvet scarf: Zara (similar one from ASOS here)|Lipstick: MAC Rebel

I wore this look to a friend’s gender reveal party this past weekend– I’ll tell ya, it def felt good to get dressed up after a long winter being pregnant and wear A LOT of “outfits” consisting of leggings/comfy clothes! I picked up this Rachel Zoe maternity tunic (petites like me can wear it as a mini dress!) recently, so I built the look around its kind of “mod” feel.  The dress itself is super high quality, stretchy and fitted in all the right places– it’s probably the most pricey “maternity” piece I’ve bought, at about $90 on sale (originally over $120), because I just cannot bring myself to spend money on expensive pieces that I’ll only wear a few more times! This dress, however, was def worth it, because I’ll pair it with (you guessed it) sneaks and loafers come spring, when I’m OUT TO HERE PREGNANT …anddddd it even works as a non-maternity dress (it fit well when I bought it at around 15 weeks, bumpless).

I decided to pair it with my fave faux fur jacket from Zara for a contrast in textures, black tights and pointed booties– and I added the skinny scarf (usually not a fan of scarves — I love how they look, but I always feel like I’m being choked lol) to keep with the 60s/mod feel.  I’m digging how the skinny black scarf kind of has the same style effect as a choker!

Shop this look by clicking on the links above– this outfit would work for pregs and non-pregs alike!

xo, ❤
