Being pregnant during the winter months hasn’t been the easiest style-wise…I’ve only found 2 pairs of maternity jeans that I really like and fit well, and there are only so many times you can make an “outfit” out of leggings (repeat– leggings are NOT pants!) Therefore, my go-to look has usually involved a dress and booties or sneakers.
When I found this cable knit sweater dress from Pink Blush Maternity (available for preggos and non-preggos alike at www.shoppinkblush.com) I knew it would be a wardrobe staple during the colder months. I’m usually not a huge fan of the sweater dress, because they can read as frumpy– but the lace trim detailing and funnel neck of this one made it love at first sight! The fit is GREAT, stretchy to accommodate a growing bump (7 months this week!), the length is perfect for work and/or going out, and it’s the perfect shade of soft grey. I love, love, love the lace detailing at the bottom– it kicks the styling up a notch. I’ve worn the dress so far with these Rag and Bone booties and the grey menswear inspired coat I have on above, and alternately, with my white Stan Smith kicks and a black moto jacket– each gave the dress a different vibe– this is how you know a piece is super versatile!
Pink Blush has both maternity AND non-maternity options to shop– its great for flowy, feminine dresses, everyday staples, and event or special occasion worthy pieces (especially good source for mamas to be who need an outfit for a wedding or shower!) Shop my exact dress HERE, (size wise I ordered my normal pre-pregnancy size small), and a few other of my fave picks (both maternity and non) below!
All of the below items can be purchased in maternity or non-maternity sizing!:
