So by now, we all have the two fall/spring jacket staples that we layer over everything and are the completer pieces to all our fave looks: the denim jacket and the black leather moto. I literally wear these two pieces over all my fave dresses, sweaters, Ts– to the point where outfits sometimes don’t feel “right” without them! Naturally then, when I came across this tan REAL SUEDE moto jacket with, wait for it….GOLD HARDWARE…from cheap and cheerful (one of my husband’s fave terms lol) Forever 21…I knew right away it would have a secured spot in the rotation:

It’s fitted and feminine, but tough and boyish, with just the right mix of modern and 70s vibes (if anything screams 70s, its tan suede!). Below, for it’s first time out, I paired it casually over my fave soft grey “kale” tee, black ripped knee skinnies, white sneaks, and oversized aviators to keep with the 70s-retro-ish feel.
